La Mela is a small winery located in Sejas de Aliste, one of the unpopulated settlements as in every other region, in winter with no more than 50 inhabitants.
Its name is due to the hierarchy with the fact that my ancestors marked the cattle to launch to go up to the pastures in the trash during the summer (each family had its own honey).
This adventure is based on a powerful trilogy: amor al pueblo, a la viña and al vino. Our illusion is that the name of our pueblo, but also to be lost, can sonar there from where we can take our soups and people from other places, we can enjoy and locate this region and this pueblo on the map.
We belong to the "VINOS DE LA SIERRA DE LA CULEBRA" project, made up of six small wineries in our region and for some time we form part of the Biosphere Reserve as well as the rest of the pueblos of "La Raya".
